CCSC students smash GCSE record again!

 

59% 5+ A*-C inc English and Maths

93% 5+ A*-C

40% 3+ A*-A

28% 5+ A*-A

 

Students at Consett Community Sports College performed exceptionally well in their GCSE exams for a record third year running! Headteacher, Christine Parker said “I was ecstatic with the fabulous achievements of our young people, once again they have surpassed our hopes and ambitions! The staff have worked exceptionally hard over the last year and I must thank them for their dedication.”

This year’s GCSE results represent an improvement from 57% in 2010 and they have increased 28% since 2008. 93% of students left the College with a minimum of five or more higher grade passes compared to 79% in 2010 and an improvement of 44% since 2008.
